Job Description

Rayne Consultancy Limited is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver (Class 2) for an exciting opportunity based in Skye. This role involves both driving and assisting with on-site labor tasks as part of a supportive team. If you’re looking for consistent work with the possibility of overtime, this could be the perfect fit.

Role Details

  • Location: Skye
  • Hours: Monday to Friday (Day shifts)
  • Overtime: Available during peak times (paid at time and a half)
  • Contract: Ongoing, with potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate
  • Pay: £13.50–£18.30 per hour (dependent on experience and payment method)
  • Additional Benefits: Standby payments of approximately £120 per week
  • Payment: Weekly

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with labor tasks as required, working both on and off the vehicle.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the team during peak times, ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 HGV license and all necessary driving cards.
  • Willingness to perform both driving and laboring tasks as needed.
  • Flexibility to work overtime during busy periods.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
